-          1974: Secondary School, final examination,

-          1974-1979: Studies at Warsaw University, Department of Biology,

-          1979: Graduation from Warsaw University, M. Sc.,

-          1979: Witold Stefanski Institute of Parasitology, Professor’s assistant,

-          1985: Ph.D Dissertation at  the Polish Academy of Sciences,

-          1986-1992: Chief of Laboratory of Immunology (IP PAS),

-          1993-1996: Chief of  Laboratory of Physiology of the Parasites (IP PAS),

-          1996- till now : Chief of Physiopathology Lab. (IP PAS),

8. The main fields of specialization:

-          Natural gastrointestinal nematode infection in sheep: humoral and cellular immune response, genetic markers of sheep resistance to gastrointestinal nematodes;

-          Trichinella spp.: distribution among domestic pigs and wild life in Poland, the usefulness of ELISA test in detection of Trichinella spp., infection in domestic pigs and wildboars,molecular identification of species;

-          Neospora caninum: parasite distributiom among cattle in Poland, immune response during long lasting infection, the mechanisms of vertical and horizontal transmission.

-          President of the Polish Parasitological Society,
