Traffic signals and signs

At traffic lights and stop signs, drivers must stop at the marked stop line. If there is not a line, stop before entering the crosswalk area. Crosswalks exist at every intersection and are not necessarily marked. An unmarked crosswalk is the extension of the sidewalk lines across the roadway.

Photo Radar

Photo radar cameras used in traffic enforcement have proven to be an effective deterrent in reducing traffic infractions such as speeding and vehicles running red lights. Photo radar is deployed along major roadways in all quadrants of the city and in where residents have reported traffic concerns, monitoring specifically for speeding violations.

Failure to comply with the rules of the road could result in fines and/or police action.
